ACCESS: The entrances and exits between I-10 and Houghton Road are under construction, please check with the AZ State Highway Department for current conditions and closures. SATURDAY 20 NOVEMBER IS TOUR DE TUCSON AND HOUGHTON ROAD WILL BE CLOSED IN THE MORNING. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY. YOU MUST USE RITA ROAD TO ACCESS THE FAIRGROUNDS
LODGING: Hampton Inn & Suites will be providing rooms at a special rate, book early.

Area X Championship Qualifications (Preliminary, Training, Novice, and Beginner Novice):
Placing to Qualify: 1st through 5th at one event
Qualifying Period: BN-T: 11/3/2019 – 11/2/2021; P: 6/25/2019 – 11/2/2021
Riders and horses qualified for 2020 championships are automatically qualified for 2021, pending one Minimum Eligibility Requirement achieved in 2021.

Any Area: PUSEF/USEA Recognized: Preliminary
USEA Recognized Test: Intro
Levels may be divided/combined if entries warrant.
SCHEDULE (for additional information see the Omnibus):
Friday: Cross-country course opens for walking at 2PM.
School Dressage Tests of Choice: 9AM - 4:30PM.
School Show Jumping Tests of Choice: 10:30AM - 4:30PM.

Saturday: Dressage begins at 8AM; Show Jumping begins at 10AM.
Sunday: Cross-country begins at 8:30AM.
Cross-country course closed Tuesday, 2 November at sunset.
X-COUNTRY SCHOOLING available after the last competitor finishes Sunday, $45 per ride; register in the shop.

USEF thanks you for participating in this competition and your support of USEF's continuous efforts to provide the safest environment possible for our athletes and other participants. Strategies for safeguarding athletes continue to evolve, and we are fully committed to keeping pace with best practices.
The purpose of this letter is to remind you that you are bound by the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies, also known as the MAAPP. This includes the SafeSport Training requirement for adult members and participants who have regular contact with minor athletes. Additionally, please be reminded about reporting obligations. Any concerns that are non-sexual in nature, please use the USEF Safe Sport Incident Reporting Form available on the USEF website. Concerns or suspicions regarding sexual misconduct must be reported to https://safesport.i-sight.com/portal and the authorities if a minor is involved. All of this information can be found in the USEF Safe Sport Policy.
