SAzEA’s outstanding volunteers donate thousands of hours on our behalf making our operations smoother and our course magnificent. We highlight only a few: Dr. Ellen Gryotis volunteers at every event and behind the scenes raking rocks, spreading mulch, planting flowers; Aimée Arnold keeps our website beautiful, informative, and useful; Sheila Strickler, two-time USEA Governor’s Cup recipient, board member, and show official whose wisdom and expertise guide the organization, volunteers as a dressage judge and fills in everywhere needed. Dot Hamilton, board member, can be found judging, setting dressage courses, running warm up — wherever she’s needed; Jana Flagler, is a board member and the force behind the vision and condition of our cross country course, and volunteers at every show; Terri Renwick, board member, willingly steps in to do what needs to be done no matter the hour; Elizabeth Patten, board member, volunteer/hospitality coordinator and social media director; and, Taharra Morris-Reid, board member, is an extraordinary show and educational activity organizer.
