Cross-country schooling our course — you will be asked to select option (schooling/age, date and hacking).
Protective head gear is mandatory for all mounted riders on course. No exceptions.
You must be a current SAzEA member to school (membership available in the shop).
Please review the Cross-Country Schooling Policies and the Release Form prior to adding this item to your cart. You must affirm that you understand the terms of both forms before checking out.
One water jump will be available each weekend; footing is “as is” and will be worked prior to official events.
IMPORTANT: Stabling, shavings and camping must be ordered/purchased directly from the Pima County Fairgrounds. The RV office, 520-762-8579 or info@the-rvpark.com should be contacted for assistance. Please tell them you are with SAzEA so they can colocate riders. Additionally, PCF typically does not have staff on-site during Open Schooling weekends. To ensure they can accommodate everyone, participants needing stalls, shavings, or RV sites should contact PCF no later than Wednesday prior to the weekend. This allows time to assign stalls and RV sites, coordinate shavings, and email each participant their stall assignment, shavings order, and RV site number before the weekend. Additionally, some weekends have limited stalls and RV parking based on other activities. Check with PCF as soon as you know you will be participating to ensure you can reserve a spot. Office hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
You are purchasing cross-country schooling for one horse/rider pair. On the next page you will be asked to identify the rider, horse, and coach.
You must ride with a trainer registered with SAzEA and with insurance on file with SAzEA. All payments, release forms, membership forms, proof of insurance (for those trainers not already registered with us) will be required prior to entering the course. SAzEA reserves the right to cancel due to weather or fewer than 10 signups one week prior to the activity. This is to ensure ability to prep the footing (and pay for it) and fill the water jumps. All will be notified of changes/cancellations and refunds, minus credit card fees, processed. Non-jumping riders may purchase a day of hacking in our shop as well.
