Want to do more than just school the course prior to Sunday’s Derby? Join us for some fun classes and show off your spirit. You can run the course (FUN RUN); You can “jump” select parts of the course with your dog (CANINE CHALLENGE), or join us for a lead line class with (LEAD LINE).

Classes will run Saturday afternoon between 3-5pm (approximately) with schedules announced NLT Friday 5 Dec.

Lead Line Class – Rider must be led by an experienced handler on a safe horse with saddle.  Course will be 2-3 minutes and will include 4-5 obstacles that can be stepped over.  Rider must wear ATSM approved helmet, and safety vest is recommended.

Fun Run – runners will cover a 3-5 kilometer course, with several “jumps” and a water option.  All runners will start at the same time.

Canine XC Challenge – a dog (on a leash) and handler will cover a 3-5 kilometer course, with several obstacles and a water option.  All pairs will start at the same time.

Christmas Spirit competition – prize for the best display of Christmas spirit, in any class, including derbys.   

SAzEA reserves the right to cancel classes if less than five entries are received. All entries refunded, minus cc fees.

Competitors must acknowledge during check out that they have read/agree to the SAzEA Release/Waiver.
